Brian Wiebe and the AJHL Spruce Grove Saints have both
tweeted four hours ago that the Vernon Vipers have traded 20 yr old defenceman Geoff Crisfield to the AJHL Spruce Grove Saints for Future Considerations. Crisfields player profile is also no longer listed on the Vipers roster.

Crisfield from Calgary, Alberta finished his second season in Vernon was about to enter his third and final season of Junior hockey with the Vipers next season. In 110 regular season games with the Vipers over the last two seasons Crisfield has collected (2-11-13). Crisfield had committed to the University of North Dakota for 2013-14 but Crisfields recruitment was re-opened in early May of this year. The Vipers with nine 20 yr olds are now down to eight with the trade of Crisfield. The League limit is six 20 yr olds per team.
