Tyler Steel stopped all 24 shots he faced for his first career BCHL shutout, while Evan Stack scored the lone goal of the game at 1:26 of overtime as the Merritt Centennials posted a 1-0 victory over the Prince George Spruce Kings Saturday night. Steel who is from Vernon, was the last goaltender cut from the Vipers pre-season roster, before joining the Centennials to start the BCHL regular season.
