Trail was sitting in first place for a period and ranked 11th in the country in the fall of 2008. They got off to a great start and were derailed by injuries including a key one to Brandon Clark who had been their early MVP.

Also unless I missed something Eric Walker didn't leave the team. He has played 9 games for them already this season.
