Has long-time and former West
Kelowna Warriors director of business operations Alex Draper joined the Vernon Vipers?
I noticed Alex at both of the Vipers-Spruce Kings Fred Page Cup Finals Games 3 & 4 helping out the Vipers on and off the ice with some promotional antics during intermissions.
Draper spent the previous seven years with the West Kelowna Warriors before the hockey club parted ways with Draper in May. Draper joined the Kootenay International Hockey League Kelowna Chiefs in July as their new director of business operations.
Due to Brenda Stewart being in Europe for a vacation Draper was just filling in while she was gone. Mr Draper told me this himself before the game. ...Jim
ReplyDeleteSo now it begins. Who is out in the Viper office. Maybe Todd Miller. I sure hope Mr. Glenn [ The hands on man] [ tongue in cheek ] thinks twice about letting Mark Ferner go, the best BCHL coach. Is he going to destroy Viperland just like the owner from Salmon Arm did a few years ago to the Silverbacks. Before Christmas there weren't to many fans that had hope that the Vipers would go so far in the playoffs, but Mark showed what he can do and had this team believe that they were going to go all the way. But getting off the subject, we hope the Glenn brothers take a long hard look before they decide to change coaches.
ReplyDeleteHe was helping out because Cheryl is on the DL and Brenda is on vacation
