The Cowichan Capitals have traded former Vernon Vipers

prospect/goaltender Ethan Buenaventura to the Penticton Vees.

Buenaventura started the 2024-25 with the Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen. Buenaventura has played parts of four seasons with the Hitmen before being released November 5th 2024.

The Vernon Vipers owned the playing rights to goaltender Ethan Buenaventura. Buenaventura never played a game with the Vipers. The Vipers traded the playing rights of Ethan Buenaventura to the Cowichan Capitals November 8th 2024 for forward Noah Grolnic.
