  2. I watched the game online but due to technical difficulties the Vipers broadcast on Hockey tv wasn't working. I had to watch and listen to the Surrey broadcast.

The game was delayed just over a half hour due to Punjabi night with a very long pre-game ceremony. Even both intermissions were extra long.

With the Eagles being the third best team in the league at 14-3-0-0 I thought the Vipers held their own for two periods against a very strong Surrey team before the Eagles blew the gates open and put the game away in the 3rd period. For the past few seasons Vernon has lacked scoring and this season is no different. The Snakes are the lowest scoring team in the league with 42 goals. Vernon didn't generate or create enough opportunities tonight. I thought the Vipers played fairly well for the first two periods but didn't get a lot of quality chances, most of the Viper shots were from well outside. Roan Clarke was good in net.

This year's Vipers are looking much like last year's team. After 19 games last year, the Vipers were 5-9-3-2

Former Vernon Vipers forward Logan Lorenz plays for the Surrey Eagles.

Vernon has lost five straight games on the road and has lost seven of their nine road games. The Vipers struggles continue as they have lost eight of their last thirteen games.

  3. The eagles have to much talent as there strong from the goalie out. Any team in this leaque will find it tough for them to beat the eagles. Give credit to the eagles they recruited really well.
