  2. Surrey is one of the best teams at the Coast. They are 13 wins and only 3 losses so I don't like the Vipers chances tonight. Surrey has 5 players who have scored more than a point per game this season and a handful more who are close to point per game. Vernon's top scorer is Luke Pakulak with 13 points in 17 games. Lee Parks is close but it really falls off from them.

Surrey also plays on a huge rink. Most of the ice surfaces in the league are 200 feet long by 85 feet wide. Surrey's is 100 feet wide. I've seen a few games in Surrey and the extra wide ice makes a difference for a speed team like Surrey and hurts a slower team like Vernon. Surrey should win this game handily. Better luck tomorrow in Coquitlam.

  3. Vernon has only 2 wins this year against teams with a winning record so I expect another loss.
