Former Viper Captain Marritt's First Career Collegiate Goal Waived Off:

Former Vernon Vipers forward/captain Connor Marritt looked to have scored his

first career collegiate goal on Wednesday, but the goal was waived off. 

Merritt and the Northern Michigan Wildcats won 6-5 in overtime over the Ferris State Bulldogs.

Marritt spent the past three seasons in Vernon (2017-2020) Marritt was captain of the Vipers in his final season of junior hockey. In 165 games with the Vipers, Marritt collected (35-goals-62-assists-97-points).
