Gatineau Olympiques have cut 19 yr old forward Jeremy Rainville. Rainville will be joing the Vernon Vipers.

Rainville has played the past two years in the QMJHL with Sheerbroke & Gatineau. In 61 games last season with the Olympiques Rainville collected (11-goals-13-assists-24-points)
The Olympique acquired Rainville from Sheerbroke in August 2019

It looks like the Vipers are going with a young team this coming season, so I like the idea of bringing in a 19 yr old veteran who has two years experience playing in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. One thing I have noticed about most of the players on the roster this year is, is there size and Rainville has some size. He put up decent numbers on the 3rd and 4th line last year with the Olypique. This is what makes this season hard as a fan, is the regular fans that follow this team closely, can't attend training camp and get a good look at the kids in camp. With the addition of Rainville, this puts the Vipers roster at 31
