Chiefs acquire two forwards from Vipers
Wednesday, September 9, 2015
The Chilliwack Chiefs are pleased to announce the acquisition of forwards Tak Anholt (1998) and Linden Hora (1996) from the Vernon Vipers in exchange for defenseman Darren Rizzolo (1998).
Anholt spent last season with the Yale Hockey Academy Prep team where, playing on a line with current Chiefs Jesse Lansdell and Kohen Olischefski, he scored 28 goals and added 36 assists in 24 games. He also appeared in five BCHL games with the Penticton Vees, registering one assist.
Hora spent last season with the Vipers, scoring once and adding three assists in 52 games.
Im not surprised the Vipers traded Linden Hora or released Blaine Caton. I really liked Tak Anholt during Training Camp but once the pre-season started Anholt didnt shine in the Exhibition games like he did during the scrimages at Training Camp.
ReplyDeleteHora & Caton are two kids Williamson recruited, I said heading into Training Camp that players like Linden Hora & Blaine Caton are a dime a dozen players you can find-pick up anywhere. There were much better players during Training camp and the pre-season who I would have took over Caton or Hora and even Michael Roberts. So this is no surprise to see these two kids gone. I did think Hora played and looked better then Roberts during Training Camp and the pre-season. I was surprised to see Roberts make the team, who didnt impress me at all during Training Camp-Exhibition games.
I dont know anything about the new defenceman coming over from the Chiefs.
