Former Viper Marc Hetnik Suiting Up At New England's Pro-Am Hockey Pre-Draft Showcase:

New England's Pro-Am Hockey annual Pre-draft showcase started today.  The New England Pro-Am started it's first Pre-Draft Showcase back in 1989, a chance for players that are annually eligible for the NHL Entry Draft. It is now a highly successful annual event held in Boston each May.  With 45 games going all day & evening former Vernon Vipers defenceman Marc Hetnik will be suiting up for East Coast Militia.  Hetnik who is from Brookline, MA played this season with the Vernon Vipers will be playing this coming season (2012-13) at Botson University.  Hetnik will join former Vipers, Ryan Santana, Sahir Gill & Garrett Noonan next season at Boston University.  In his rookie season with the Vipers Hetnik collected (3-14-17) in 60 regular season games.

Marc Hetnik and East Coast Militia opened the annual Pre-draft showcase this morning at 7:10am Hetnik collected one assist in East Coast Militia's 7-1 victory over N.E. Nordiques.

This afternoon (12pm) Marc Hetnik and East Coast Militia played their second game of the showcase improving to 2-0 with a 6-3 win over Walpole Express.  Hetnik collected one assist (second at showcase) in the victory.

Hetnik and East Coast Militia will faceoff tomorrow morning at 10:20am vs Eurocamp hockey.
