Former Viper MacMurchy Commits To HC Red Ice:

Former Vernon Vipers forward, Ryan MacMurchy has commited to HC Red Ice for the 2012-13 season.  MacMurchy played this season in Norway with the Stavanger Oilers.  In 44 regular season games MacMurchy collected (37-39-76).  MacMurchy played one season in Vernon (2000-2001) collecting (4-16-20) in 55 regular season games with the Vipers. MacMurchy was selected by the St. Louis Blues in round 9 #284 overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

The Board of directors of HC Red Ice SA announces commitment for season 2012-2013 of the Canadian Ryan MacMurchy (born on April 27th, 1983). Native of the province of Saskatchewan, he was drafté in 284th position by St-Louis Blues in 2002. Having evolved under the colours of the University of Wisconsin (NCAA, from 2002 till 2006), he played in AHL from 2006 till 2011. Last season it had discovered Europe with Stavanger Oilers in Norway with in the key national title and that of better meter of the first Norwegian division (97 points in 57 meetings). Ryan MacMurchy has got involved for 1 season with option for 1 year more with HC Red Ice.
