Former Viper Short Returns To IceGators:

The CHL Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees have sent former Vernon Vipers forward, Rob Short back to the SPHL Louisiana IceGators on Sunday, December 25th 2011. Short was loaned to the Killer Bees on December 21st played

five season's in Vernon (2006-2010) and is the only player in franchise history to have his number retired. No offcial press release but the SPHL website has posted the transaction on its website. Short is in his second season with the IceGators and third season playing in the SPHL.
