Former Viper Fraser Loaned To AHL:

Former Vernon Vipers forward, Curtis Fraser has been loaned to the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League. Fraser began the season with Lake Erie, before returning to Alaska in mid-February. Fraser played parts of one season with the Vipers during the 2002-03 season.

Anchorage, AK - Alaska Aces forward Curtis Fraser has been loaned to the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League, Head Coach Brent Thompson announced on Thursday. Fraser began the season with Lake Erie, before returning to Alaska in mid-February.

Fraser, who turns 29 on Monday, is in his second season with the Aces after playing 17 games for Alaska in an injury plagued 2009-2010 season. In 20 games this year with Alaska, he has posted 14 points (6g, 8a). He has registered 12 points in his last 13 games, including the game-winning, power play goal in Victoria on Wednesday night. To start this season he played in 30 games with Lake Erie, furnishing seven points (4g, 3a) and 42 penalty minutes.

Last year with Alaska, he totaled 13 points (8g, 5a) in 17 games. He also added four playoff games for the Aces. In his pro career, Fraser has played 178 games - all but 42 in the AHL. The 42 games in the ECHL were split between the Aces and five games with the Las Vegas Wranglers. He's added ten AHL playoff games, and 16 ECHL post-season appearances.
