The Langley Rivermen have traded former Vernon Vipers forward

Ethan Merner to the West Kelowna Warriors.

Merner started the 2025-26 season with the Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen. In 2 games, Merner collected (0-goals-0-assists-0-points).
Merner split the 2024-25 season with the Langley Rivermen & Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen. Merner started the 2024-25 season with the Langley Rivermen, before signing with the Calgary Hitmen January 9th 2025.
Since leaving the Vernon Vipers after the 2022-23 season, the Warriors are Merner's fourth team.
Merner had committed to Merrimack College for the 2024-25 season.
Merner played one season in Vernon with the 2022-23 Vernon Vipers. In 38 games with the Vipers, Merner collected (3-goals-7-assists-10-points). Merner left the Vernon Vipers to sign with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Sherwood Park Crusaders June 6th 2023.
