  1. I sneaked a peak inside Kal Tire Place today at lunch today (Tuesday). The scoreboard was all over the floor and looked to be nowhere near ready to hoist up. No ice on the floor yet, either. Will Friday's opener go head as planned or be moved to the North rink again?

    2. Yes, when there IS protective flooring. But the last while, that’s the concrete they’ve been working on. No ice.

  6. A friend of mine went to Kal Tire Place yesterday to pick up her season tickets. She was told from someone in the office the new scoreboard will unlikely be ready before the weekend

    1. Don’t know who your friend was talking to in the office, but Friday is a go.

  7. I was a little surprised to see Casey Bridgewater get cut/released. I thought he played fairly well in the preseason and was one of the better Vipers in Friday's loss to Trail. I was also a little surprised to see Jonathan Bitonti cut/released after recently joining the team last week and only playing in one game. On the other hand, I like the addition of Toms Trockis. The kid has some size and put up pretty good numbers last season. The Vipers were lacking scoring during the preseason, hopefully he can bring some offence to the team.
