  1. And the Fans get ready for 2025-2026 season again run by the Clown Show. "Keep doing the same things and keep getting the same results". Where are all the high value recruits? You know, the ones who will turn out to be duds, then get moved to another team and turn into stars? When can you think of another hockey franchise, amateur or professional, who don't make GM or Coaching changes after 5 years of dismal performance? Buckle up and get ready for the "same old, same old".

  4. 15 wins last season and Lomicky gets to keep his job? Brutal

  5. I'm very disappointed to hear Lomicky will be returning for this season. After one of the worst season's in Franchise history, changes need to be made and a new Head Coach is one of them. After winning only fifteen games last season, Lomicky should have been replaced after the season. With Lomicky back as Head Coach, he better be on a very short leash. The first ten games of the season will be critical on his job and how the Vipers start the season. Management has yet to put together a competitive team since going to the league finals in 2019. The Vipers have been mediocre and average at best since the start of the 2019-20 season. With no word on what players are returning for the 2025-26 season and no word on any new recruits/committed players coming, what do the Vipers look like for this coming season? It doesn't look good. Better prove me wrong, because so far nothing to get excited about for the upcoming season.

I would like to thank castanet for reporting on the Vipers Spring ID Camp. Great job and much appreciated. Now why can't the Vipers give some kind of report like this and post it on there website? No news from the Vipers since the season ended. I have said this before, why can't the team give a press release saying the same coaching staff will be back for the upcoming season, let us know what players may be returning from last season and every few weeks or so announce some new recruits/committed players if there are any. Were dedicated fans and would like to be kept updated with the team and the upcoming season. I get that it's summer, but a report or some kind of information once or twice a month to keep fans in the loop would be appreciated.

    1. You forgot to mention that the team that went to the finals was built/assembled by Ferner NOT the new owners. They inherited a winning team and coaching staff only to replace them with McKee and company. The result was a freefall to the bottom of the league!!!!!

  6. The penticton vees promo team would all year long thru media comment on the vees. Its all about building a strong fan base. When in penticton one day didn't go bye when you would not hear about the vees on the radio. The vernon promo team could learn from this. Hmmmm??

    1. How many paid off ice staff members do the Vee’s have versus the Vipers. Something to consider, hmmm?

    2. Vernon had a strong fan base. Evidenced with finishing in the bottom last season and still 2000+ average fans at games.

  7. The Vipers were giving away free tickets last season. Walk into any gas station, pub, restaurant, hardware store etc and they had piles of free tickets to anyone who asked for one.

    1. Free tickets still put fans in the seats. I am certain all teams give away free tickets.

  8. All I'm saying is that's why the Vipers attendance was so good last season. You take away those free tickets and there's no way fans are coming out in droves to watch a last place team night after night

  9. Meantime, Todd Miller (again) wins BCHL marketer of the Year. Pretty sure you don’t earn a title like that by just giving away free tickets - give credit where it’s due, they worked hard to put fans in seats, even though the product on the ice wasn’t great.
