Compton and the Black Hawks lost 6-5 in overtime to the Muskegon Lumberjacks in the Clark Cup Finals.

Compton played parts of one season with the 2023-24 Alberta Junior Hockey League Brooks Bandits before being traded to the United States Hockey League Waterloo Black Hawks in February 2024. Compton recently finished his second season with the United States Hockey League Waterloo Black Hawks. In 62 regular season games, Compton collected (5-goals-40-assists-45-points). In 15 playoff games, Compton collected (2-goals-11-assists-13-points).
Compton has committed to Northeastern University for the 2025-26 season.
Compton played one season in Vernon with the 2022-23 Vernon Vipers. Compton committed to the Vipers June 27th 2022 for the 2022-23 season. In 40 games, Compton collected (4-goals-14-assists-18-points). Compton had committed to Northeastern University for the 2023-24 season.
