This should be a really close game. Cranbrook will be playing their third game in four days. They lost to both West Kelowna 3-2 on Wednesday and then 2-1 to Salmon Arm Friday night. Both games went to overtime. Cranbrook played their numer one goalie, Choquette, in both games so we will likely see either Kolton Bourette or Miles Roberts. Other notables include team leading poinscoring Jacob Fletcher who has 26 points and league leading goalscorer Rasmus Svartstrom who has 19 goals but only 6 assists. On defense Bryce Sookro leads the entire league's defensmen with 26 points in 24 games plus he's a stud on defense. And then there's defender Kaslo Ferner. Ferner? Ferner? Where do I remember that name from? Anyway I think the Vipers can squeeze out a win 4-3.
ReplyDeleteTonight won't be an easy game for the struggling Vipers. I guess when your near the bottom of the standings, there is no real easy games. The Vipers are 1-1 vs Cranbrook this season. The last time the Vipers played in Cranbrook, the Bucks were 8-1 now they are 13-10-1-0 The Bucks have lost eight of there last twelve games, while the Snakes have lost nine of there last thirteen games. Vernon has no talent/skilled players and can't score, which also hurts this team in trying to win hockey games.
