It seems like the Vipers can't go a week without making a trade or some kind of roster move.
Almen isn't the biggest kid only has four points in 12 games with the Regina Pats this season and only had 14 pts all of last season. Almen had 92 pts playing U15 in Saskatoon and 39 pts playing U18 in Saskatoon.
The Vipers are lacking scoring, need someone who can put the puck in the net and Almen I don't think is this guy.
Do the Glens participate in the recruting as well as colton sparrow ?? If so perhaps they should just say. "We don't play hockey we sell cars" Perhaps the glens need to expand there budget a little and invest in a experienced hockey recruiter. This could be helpful opposed to the revolving door of our recruited hockey players who are looking at there future with the vipers as am I next. Maybe the viper mindset is to get out before being let go. This revolving door of players does not build team strength nor confidence for the fans in there team. So my message to the Glens is to bring a recruiter with a good record of success because much like selling cars how long do you keep that car salesman who just is not doing it for you. Glens think about it success or failure?
The recruiting seems to follow the method of a used car salesman…..over sell and under deliver. What is sold to players during the recruiting process is obviously not what is provided when they get here. If it was we would not see so many young players leave so early. They’ve destroyed the the foundation and have no core to build on. Now the older guys are leaving so what is going on???? They better make a change before the next mass exit!
Nice that the Vipers put the ROSTER UPDATE there!

ReplyDeleteThey don't need a recruiter. They need a professional staff!!!! You could recruit Bedard but with this hockey staff he would get traded as well....
DeleteAgree, but, the Vipers posted a ROSTER UPDATE!
