  1. I wish the Vipers social media team would keep fans more in the loop with news regarding the upcoming roster, cuts etc. The Vipers announce trades or player signings during the season but never give updates during training camp/preseason on the roster/cuts etc. If you follow the Western Hockey League, you will notice most teams give roster updates during training camp, the preseason and leading up to the start of the regular season.

  2. Old habits are hard to change but maybe change is a good thing.

  3. I remember back in the day when a player who had committed to a team or a player returning from the previous season would be an automatic lock for the upcoming season, at least the start of the regular season. Now it seems players jobs aren't as safe as it once use to be. This year forwards Kole Hyles 06 & Kristian Lamanna 05 both committed to the Vipers for the 2024-25 season, weren't listed on the teams preseason roster. Another forward Sean Gibbons 05 who committed to the Vipers for the 2024-25 season was cut/released last week, before Payton Struck 05 returning from last season was released recently.

  4. This may be the fall-out of the League going independent!

  5. My apologies for stating yesterday it was Nick Mikan who was recently removed from the Vipers roster when in fact it was Payton Struck. I somehow reported Nick Mikan but it was actually Payton Struck. Sorry for the confusion.
