Former Vipers "AP" Evers & The Eagles Win Fred Page Cup:

Former Vernon Vipers affiliated player/forward Ryden Evers and the Surrey Eagles

won the Fred Page Cup/BCHL Championship after a 3-1 victory on Sunday over the Penticton Vees. The Eagles won the best of seven playoff series 4-2.

Evers is in his second season with the Surrey Eagles. In 53 regular season games this season, Evers collected (22-goals-31-assists-53-points). In 10 playoff games, Evers has (2-goals-2-assists-4-points).

Evers was an affiliated player with the 2021-22 Vernon Vipers. Evers was added to the Vipers reserve roster in late October/early November 2021. Evers made his Vipers debut March 23rd 2022 in a 10-3 victory over the Trail Smoke Eaters. Evers played 1 game with the 2021-22 Vernon Vipers.

  1. Wow, this kid put up some good numbers the past 2 years. Another example of the Viper's mismanagement and poor evaluating of young players. By the numbers, Evers would have been our leading point getter last year (2023/24) & 5th in team scoring in his first full year (2022/23). Sure glad we have moved on from that "brilliant hockey mind" who was running the Vipers the past 5 years.

  4. i think i can speak for almost everyone outside of Penticton and say congratulations to the Eagles for defeating the most hated, arrogant, obnoxious and cocky Penticton Vees on home ice in front of their arrogant and obnoxious fans. I would have loved to be at that game and watch the tears flow down from the Vees faithful and listen to the excuses fly i think everyone is so done with the Vees its very satisfying to watch them lose on homeice and watch the Eagles parade around with the Cup. Envy our past, fear our future..... 🤮 go shove it! 😁
