I watched the Vipers game online this evening. The Vipers broadcast was having technical difficulties so I had to watched the Victoria broadcast. The Grizzlies play by play guy is a homer and made a couple of comments towards the officials, which I thought was unprofessional. I thought the Grizzlies were the better team and outplayed the Vipers at times, especially in the 2nd period. The Grizz seemed to have the better of the play more then the Vipers. Vernon seemed to capitalize on their opportunities, while the Grizzlies either were denied by Ethan David who looked a little shaky at times or didn't capitalize on their chances. Victoria also didn't get the bounces or puck luck. The Snakes almost blow a 5-2 3rd period lead and hang on for the win. This Viper team sure gets outshot and outshot bad often. Give the Snakes credit for hanging in there, and picking up the win on the road, somewhere where they haven't played well lately. Prior to tonight, the Vipers had just one win in their last seven road games. The Vipers also stay three points ahead of Trail who won this evening.
