After leaving Hockey Canada this year, the BC Hockey League is now an independent league as of June 1st 2023 and will be operating under some new rules/regulations. One of those new rules is moving the previous trade deadline from January 10th to February 10th 2024. In past years the BCHL/Hockey Canada's trade deadline was normally January 10th.

The trade deadline is pretty much irrelevant in my mind. There is no one to trade with except for teams in your own league so why would you need a deadline? Jason McKee can't even find anyone to take Maks Percic off his hands.1
