The Vernon Vipers improve to 13-5-0-0 after a 4-2 victory over the 7-10-1-1 Merritt Centennials in front of 659 fans at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena in Merritt.
I watched the Vipers game this evening on my computer. What a game and a hard fought team effort by the Snakes. I thought Vernon had a bit of an edge in the opening frame before the Centennials pushed back and were the better team in the 2nd period. The 3rd was fairly even at times but I thought the Snakes had a bit of an edge. Vipers missing several key players due to injury. The Vipers finish the road trip with a tough game tomorrow in Salmon Arm vs a Silverbacks team that is 8-0 at home this season and 2-0 at home vs the Vipers.
