Vipers Alumni Zalewski Leaves Klagenfurt:

Former Vernon Vipers forward Mike Zalewski and EC-KAC will go their

separate ways. The club has decided not to make an offer to continue their cooperation.

Klagenfurt Athletic Sports Club or EC KAC (German: Klagenfurter Athletiksport Club) is a professional ice hockey team in the ICE Hockey League. The team plays their home games in Klagenfurt, Carinthia, Austria at Stadthalle Klagenfurt.

Zalewski played the past two seasons with Moser Medical Graz99ers & EC-KAC.

Zalewski played two seasons at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2012-2014 before leaving University to sign his first professional contract with the Vancouver Canucks March 17th 2014. Zalewksi made his NHL/Canucks debut April 12th 2014 in a 5-2 loss to Edmonton. Zalewski played six games with the Canucks, before playing three seasons in the American Hockey League with the Utica Comets from 2014-2017 before going to play professional hockey in Germany in 2017. Zalewski has spent the past six seasons playing in Germany and Austria.

Zalewski played two seasons in Vernon from 2010-2012. In 106 games with the Vipers, Zalewski collected (50-goals-54-assists-104-points).
