Solar Bears sign goaltender Ty Taylor (orlandosolarbearshockey.com)
Taylor will join former Vernon Vipers forward Odeen Tufto who also plays with the Solar Bears. Tufto played with the 2015-16 Vernon Vipers.
Taylor played his first three seasons at the University of New Hampshire from 2018-2021 before finishing his college hockey career this season at Grant MacEwan University. In 13 games this season, Taylor went 1-11-0 with 1 shutout and a 4.16 GAA Taylor was drafted 214th overall in Round 7 by the Tampa Bay Lightning at the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
Taylor played two seasons in Vernon from 2016-2018. In 60 games with the Vipers, Taylor went 36-17-5 with 8 shutouts and a 2.38 GAA
