the Warriors presented former Vernon Vipers goaltender Johnny Derrick with his BCHL all-star jersey. Derrick was named to the BCHL 2022 BCHL All-Star game December 7th 2021.

The BCHL 2022 All-Star game was suppose to be played January 15th 2022 in Penticton, was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Derrick is in his third season with the West Kelowna Warriors. In 32 games, Derrick is 19-11 with a 3.19 GAA
Derrick attended the Vernon Vipers spring camp & training camp in 2017 & 2018 was an affilated player with the 2018-19 Vernon Vipers. Derrick committed & signed with the West Kelowna Warriors in September 2019.
