A major factor in the last four Viper wins has been the absence of Jack Glen, whose mistakes typically lead to at least one goal per game for the opposition.
ReplyDeleteI watched the Vipers/Spruce Kings game on my computer tonight.
ReplyDeleteThis was a very entertaining and exciting hockey game. I thought the Spruce Kings were the better team in the 1st period but the Vipers were the better team in the 2nd and 3rd periods. A big win on the road for a team that has struggled on the road this year and a big win vs one of the top teams in the division. For the first time this season, the Snakes have won five straight and six of their past ten games. This Vipers team has been very inconsitant all season and looked very dismal this year up until the BCHL trade deadline. The moves the Vipers made at the deadline seem to have worked/helped and for the first time this year, the Vipers have improved. I said before this road trip started, will see what this team is made of after the trip and so far they are off to a good start.
Go Vipers Go!
Okay, enough is enough. Leave him alone for awhile. Jack Glen is out. I heard from a reliable source that he's injured in a fairly serious way and was hurt late in the January 19 game against Trail. If you remember in the last minute of that game, he took a boarding penalty. It was on that play that he was hurt and he'll be out for many games.
