Following the Provincial Health Officer's announcement on Monday, B.C's new COVID-19 restrictions took place on Monday. One of those restrictions is large events which hold 1,000 or more, such as Vernon Vipers games, will be limited to 50% of the venue's capacity.

I think the BCHL has been very lucky so far if you considor what's going on with the NHL and all the players/coaches testing positive and teams shutting down, post-poning games etc. What a mess! My biggest concern is with the kids going home for Christmas and what's going to happen when they return back to their BCHL teams. I guess we won't know until after the holidays. The league has been very lucky this season they haven't had any break outs or players testing positive and having to post-pone games etc other then for the flooding/road closures.
