Ghostriders Name Ex Viper Valin New Head Coach/GM:

The Kootenay Internation Junior Hockey League

Fernie Ghostriders have named former Vernon Vipers defenceman Tyler Valin new Head Coach/GM.

GHOSTRIDERS HIRE VALIN AS HEAD COACH & GM | Fernie Ghostriders

Valin spent last season as an Assistant Coach with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Whitecourt Wolverines.

Prior to joining the Wolverines, Valin spent three seasons as Head Coach of the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers U18 AAA team.

Valin played parts of two seasons in Vernon from 1998-2000. Valin was traded to the Prince George Spruce Kings during the 1999-2000 season. Prince George traded Valin back to Vernon for the following season where he split the 2000-01 season between the Vipers & the Alberta Junior Hockey League Grande Prairie Storm and Bow Valley Eagles. In 40 games with the Vipers, Valin collected (1-goal-5-assists-6-points).
