The BC Hockey League opened the 2020 pre-season/Okanagan Cup tournament on September 25th. No fans are allowed to attend games. The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has allowed fans to attend exhibition games. The MJHL started the 2020 pre-season September 21st 2020. After ten exhibition games, five out of those ten games looked to have people in attendance. The MJHL boxscore/game summary shows five games with fans and attendance numbers.
Here is the MJHL September schedule/attendance records listed on the MJHL website,

I'm a little skeptical. Who is the originator of this article? Is there a confirmed source detailing that fans are allowed at the game, or is just based on this specific observation?
ReplyDeleteMore info would be nice. Why do some games have attendance and others don't? Seems very suspicious and a poorly worded article if this is the only source.
This possibly indicates that people were in attendance, but it could also be a mistake, and it doesn't necessary mean fans were allowed at the game. Just sayin'.

A Google of the MJHL would take you to a site, similar to the BCHL site. Look at the league schedule. Select exhibition season. Some of the games have attendance shown, however small. Maybe only a portion of seats were able to be sold to maintain distancing.
