Former Viper Beech Named Calgary Hitmen Top 25 Players:

The Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen have named former Vernon Vipers forward Kris Beech one of there top 25 players.

According to eliteprospects.com Beech last played hockey with the The EIHL (Elite Ice Hockey League) Stena Line Belfast Giants during the 2015-16 season.

Beech played parts of five seasons in Calgary (1996-2001) with the Hitmen before getting drafted by the Washington Capitals In Round 1 #7 overall at the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. Beech played with five different NHL clubs (Washington, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Columbus & Vancouver) also played six seasons in the American Hockey League and eight seasons overseas with nine different teams in six different leagues.

Beech played parts of one season in Vernon during the 1996-1997 season with the Vipers before leaving the team during the season for the Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen.
