On This Day In Vernon Vipers History:

Nine years ago today (April 5th 2011) In Game 4 of the BCHL League
Finals best of seven series vs the Powell River Kings. David Robinson scored twice, while Steve Weinstein chipped in with three assists before Mike Zalewski scored at 8:00 of overtime, giving the hometown Vipers a 5-4 overtime victory to sweep the series 4-0 and win there third straight Fred Page Cup. Vernon outshot Powell River 37-34 Kirby Halcrow made 30 saves in the win, while Michael Garteig made 32 saves in the loss in front of 2,466 fans at Wesbild Centre. This was Vernon's twelth League Championship in franchise history. The Vipers would advance to the Doyle Cup vs the Spruce Grove Saints.

  1. I always liked this Vipers logo and wish they never got rid of it. The Vipers use to use this logo shown here in this post as the teams secondary logo and the main logo on there third jerseys. Keep the Vipers main logo but I wish the they would bring back this logo and use it for marketing/advertising etc and as the teams second logo and logo for the teams third jerseys.
