The hometown Merritt Centennials jumped out to a 2-0 1st period lead, blew a 3-1 lead as Dawson Holt returned to the Vipers lineup added four assists in Vernon's 6-3 victory. Reilly Herbst made 33 saves in the win, while Ryan Winter made 39 saves in the loss as the Snakes outshot the Cents 45-36 in front of 340 fans at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena.
