Former Vipers Forward Lambert Named Big Ten Second Star Of The Week:

Former Vernon Vipers forward Jimmy Lambert was named Big Ten Second Star of the Week.

Lambert is in his second season at the University of Michigan, played three years in Vernon (2015-2018). In 156 games with the Vipers Lambert collected (57-goals-85-assists-142-points). Lambert attended the Calgary Flames development camp last year & the New York Islanders development camp this year.

Big Ten Second Star of the Week -- Jimmy Lambert led the nation in assists with four and finished in a tie for points per game with 2.50. He had four assists and one goal as Michigan swept Wisconsin. On Friday, he scored the game-winning goal and added two assists in an 8-4 victory before adding two more assists in a 5-3 win and finished the weekend at plus-5.
