  1. Riley kept the Vipers in the game! Without him it would have been a blowout! You can't win with an inept team that scores one goal, no matter how good that gaol was! They can't even get out of their own end! A failing clearing attempt led to the tying goal. McKee couldnt even coach a tiddly winks team!

    1. Love watching Tanaka Campbell & look forward to next year when his younger brother should join him. They are both very good players. You are correct though in their lack of scoring but the biggest concern is the Vipers inability to limit the scoring opportunities by the opposing team. Vipers are a train wreck in their own zone. We were spoiled by Mark Ferners "defence before offence" philosophy. KcKee could learn a lot from this approach.

  2. Mark Ferner had a similar problem when he took over from Willamson a former vipers coach. Ferner had the remnants and playing attitude the first year with the team the first year and in the second year you could see the shift because in the second year it was all a ferners type team with his stamp on it. Jason is facing the same thing. I believe if you give him a chance that you will see a similar situation into the second year as it will be a jason mckee team in its totality and what your seeing on the ice now which looks like at times confusion will be dramatically reduced and a well balanced and coached disaplined team will appear. So we must have patience much like we did with mark ferner. Trust me for now ,it will get better.

  3. Anonymous....you speak of Defence, looking at recent stats, this years Vipers are fourth in the league for fewest goals against, they are second in their division, for goals against, they lost in OT, against the highest scoring team in the league....they may have trouble scoring, however the Defence stats are decent to date !!

  4. So Bingo you have written this year off blaming Mark Ferner! Last year's team went to the final! Same team this year, with bad players selected by McKee but with a terrible coach who he done nothing before joining the Vipers and nothing since! You keep referring to him as Jason, and defending his bad coaching therefore I must assume you are related to him?
