Ex Viper Seibel Leaves Spruce Kings:

Former Vernon Vipers defenceman Sol Seibel has left the Prince George Spruce Kings and returned home.

Seibel was in his first season in Prince George, left the team after one game. Seibel is still listed on the Spruce Kings roster but has been suspended by the team. The Salmon Arm Silverbacks traded Seibel to the Prince George August 7th 2019. 

Seibel spent last season with the Silverbacks, his first and only season in Salmon Arm. Seibel had thirteen assists in 43 games last season.

Seibel played parts of two seasons in Vernon (2016-2018) playing in 77 games with the Vipers collecting (1-goal-12-assists-13-points). The Vipers traded Seibel and future considerations to the Alberta Junior Hockey League Bonnyville Pontiacs for forward Derek Brown January 8th 2018. Seibel never played a game with Bonnyville was traded to Salmon Arm January 10th 2018.

20-year-old Sol Seibel left the team and returned to his home in Kamloops. "That was a mutual thing, it wasn't just him saying he didn't like it here, he wasn't a good fit for for us either," said Hawes. "His style of play, especially in that one game he played, it didn't go very well."
