Birmingham Bulls Add Former Vernon Viper Crisfield To Teams Protected List:

The Southern Professional Hockey League announced its Protected Lists as submitted by each of its member teams. The Birmingham Bulls have thirteen players listed on their protected list one of is former Vernon Vipers defenceman Geoff Crisfield.

Crisfield spent the past four seasons (2014-2018) at SAIT (Southern AB Inst. of Tech) before signing with the Southern Professional Hockey League Birmingham Bulls last year. Crisfield started the 2018-19 season with the Bulls, before signing with the ECHL Idaho Steelheads November 29 2018. Crisfield split last season between the Bulls and Steelheads after being released from Idaho March 13th 2019. In 19 games with the Bulls Crisfield collected (3-goals-9-assists-12-points) & In 15 games with the Steelheads Crisfield collected (1-goal-4-assists-5-points).

Crisfield played two years in Vernon (2011-2013) before being traded to the AJHL Spruce Grove Saints June 1st 2013 for future considerations.  In 110 games with the Vipers Crisfield collected (2-goals-11-assists-13-points).

Birmingham Bulls announced their 2019-2020 Protected Player list on Friday.  The listed includes Josh Harris, Jacob Barber, Mike Davis, Craig Simchuk, Kasey Kulczycki, Russell Jordan, Cole Golka, Mavric Parks, Geoff Crisfield, Matt Fuller, Mike Crocock, Caleb Apperson,  Garrett Schmitz
