Penticton Vees defenceman Peter Muzyka has been suspended five games for his blow to the head on Vernon Vipers forward Ben Helgeson during the 2nd period of Friday night's Vipers-Vees game in Penticton.
Muzyka was given a five minute major for a blow to the head and tossed from the game. Vernon defeated Penticton 3-2 in overtime.
Muzyka & Helgeson were both out of the lineup for Saturday night's Vipers-Vees game in Vernon.

Muzyka should have been suspended for as many games as Ben is out. That was a brutal hit and Ben didn't even have the puck. The Vees think they can get away with this stuff. What did Freddie send Muzyka out to take a Viper player. Come on BCHL get your heads out of your butts and stop Penticton from getting away with this crap !!!!!!!!!!!!!
