Vipers-Express Highlight's:

Here are some select highlight's from the Vipers-Express game
Friday night in Coquitlam. Regan Kimens opened the scoring for the Express in the 1st period as Coquitlam held the lead the entire night with period leads of 1-0 and 2-0 before scoring twice more in the 3rd period. Josh Latta scored the Vipers lone goal as Coquitlam defeated Vernon 4-1 in front of 567 fans at the Poirier Sports and Leisure Centre.

Vernon had three minutes of powerplay time in the opening half of the second period. That was when they got some of their best scoring chances on Express goaltender Clay Stevenson. His best save of the night was a trio of saves on a Viper powerplay where Stevenson made the original save on Jack Judson's point shot, he followed that up with two more saves on the subsequent rebounds.

With the Express on a powerplay a bobble by Drew Cooper at the Vipers blueline allowed Jagger Williamson to walk in on a partial breakaway. As Cooper hustled back to impede the chance, the Vipers captain was awarded a penalty shot.

On the free pass Clay Stevenson shutdown Williamson who tried to beat him five hole.
