I had to listen to the Vipers game on the radio as I couldn't get Hockey TV to upload-work. Well it sounded like the Vipers were the better of the two teams for most of the night and the shots proved that. Vernon outshot Merritt 46-27 Specialty teams was a difference as the Centennials go 3-5 with the powerplay, while the Vipers go 0-6. The Snakes had several quality chances through out the night. Once again the Vipers have troubles scoring. The Vipers are playing hard and have played well at times lately but can't score. The Vipers have one win in their last five games, two wins in their last eight games, and six wins in their last nineteen games. Vernon's four game road trip continues tomorrow night in Salmon Arm.
ReplyDeletePatience. Mark Ferner certainly has alot more of it then we do as fans. Maybe he is seeing a bigger picture than we are. Perhaps the developing talent that he has will bear fruit and prove to be the goal scorers we have been waiting for. Let us hope we are wrong and Mark is right. Go,Viper,Go.
ReplyDeleteOnce again the Viper take ridiculous penalties allowing 3 power play goals. Against Penticton 3 power play goals. Either they have to stay out of the penalty box or drastically improve on the PK. They need to be taught discipline!
