I watched tonight's game on the computer. I forgot how high the camera is at the Frank Crane Arena. Watching all the Vipers road games online, this is one of if not the only rink that broadcasts the game from up high. The quality-picture is still good, but the players just seem further away compared to watching games online from other rinks. Lots of penalties made it a tough game to watch and for the game to get any real flow. Seemed like their was a penalty every few minutes at times. The Vipers could have easily blown this game wide open in the opening period, if they could have capitalized on the powerplay. Nanaimo with a pretty good penalty kill for the amount of penalties they took. The Snakes couldn't seem to get any real sustained pressure going for several lengths through out the night. The Clippers take a 3-2 lead just twenty seconds into the 3rd but give Vernon credit, they didn't panic, tied the game before scoring inside the final minute on the powerplay, for the game winner. A big come from behind win on the road. The Vipers win both games to start the three games in three day road trip, will play in Surrey tomorrow afternoon. Big win for the Snakes!
