Prokop commits to Vipers

The Vernon Vipers of the British Columbia Hockey League announced the commitment of Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Josh Prokop.

Prokop, 17, finished tied for the overall scoring lead in the Midget Prep Division during the 2016-17 season after picking up 57 points (29-28-57) in 30 games with the Northern Alberta Xtreme.

The Edmonton, Alta. product won a CSSHL Elite 15s Division Championship in 2016 with Northern Alberta after accumulating 50 points (24-26-50) in 28 games, along with 11 points (5-6-11) in four post-season contests.

Prokop, who was selected by the Swift Current Broncos in fifth round, 92nd overall, at the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft, made his Junior A debut last season, appearing in one game with the Spruce Grove Saints of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Vipers commit to Swetlikoff

The Vernon Vipers of the British Columbia Hockey League announced the commitment of Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Alex Swetlikoff.

Swetlikoff, 16, spent the past two seasons with the Yale Hockey Academy, most recently with their Midget Prep team where he netted 45 points (19-26-45) in 28 games during the 2016-17 CSSHL season, as well as five points (2-3-5) in three games during the playoffs.

The Kelowna, B.C. product won a CSSHL Bantam Prep Championship with Yale during the 2015-16 season, accumulating 30 points (13-17-30) in 25 games, along with six points (6-0-0) in four post-season contests.

Swetlikoff was selected in the third round, 62nd overall, by the Seattle Thunderbirds during the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

Judson commits to Vipers

The Vernon Vipers of the British Columbia Hockey League announced the commitment of three-year Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Jack Judson.

Judson, 17, spent the past three seasons with the Delta Hockey Academy, most recently with their Midget Prep team during the 2016-17 season where he registered 20 points (5-15-20) in 29 games, along with two points (1-1-2) in three post-season contests.

During the 2015-16 season, the White Rock, B.C. product helped Delta capture the CSSHL Midget Prep Championship after netting 13 points (6-7-13) in 35 regular season games and one goal in four playoff games.

The 5-foot-11 defenceman appeared in two games with the Vipers during the 2016-17 season.

Judson was selected in the 10th round, 201st overall, by the Vancouver Giants at the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft after accumulating seven points (3-4-7) in 18 games with the Delta Bantam Prep team during the 2014-15 season.
