35 Years Ago Today.... Former Vernon Esso Tiger Williams Scores Canucks Overtime Winner:

It was thirty five years ago today (April 8th 1982) former Vernon Essos forward Dave "Tiger" Williams scores the first ever overtime winning goal in Vancouver Canucks playoff history.

Williams pounces on a rebound and scores the overtime winner before running down the ice in one of the most epic celebrations in Canucks history. The goal put the Canucks up 2-0 in the Smythe Division Semi-Finals over the Calgary Flames.
