Three Awesome Saves, Three Goalies & One Game – You would think in a 7-3 final that goaltending might be somewhat suspect but not during this BCHL game between the Vernon Vipers and the Salmon Arm Silverbacks December 14th 2016. Three different netminders made three highlight worthy saves in a single game.
Silverback starting netminder#1 Nic Tellarico makes a fantastic toe save early in the game. However he wouldn’t last the game and was pulled after the Vipers scored their 3rd goal against the S’Backs. It wouldn’t take back-up tendy Trevin Kozlowski much time to also record a highlight stop on Jimmy Lambert (had four goal performance that night).
And then in the 3rd period…Vernon goalie #30 Darion Hanson would make an acrobatic save to try and keep his shut-out bid alive. However the Silverbacks would come back to score three in the final period in a wild action filled game.
