The defending Island Division Champion Nanaimo Clippers are coming off a 4-1 victory over the visiting Coquitlam Express Saturday, snapping a three game losing skid. Nanaimo won three of its first four games before dropping three straight. This afternoon is the second of four straight at home as the Clippers have played five of their first eight games at home. This is the second of three regular season meetings with the Vipers as the Clippers travel to Vernon for the final meeting of the season January 28th. Nanaimo sits last in the Island Division are a point behind Alberni Valley & Cowichan.
