The Vipers return home from a six game road trip, their longest of the season, went 2-3-1-0 in the six games are back on the bus after tonight for a three game road trip starting Saturday in West Kelowna. The Vipers and Eagles will meet twice this season, the Vipers will travel to Surrey November 6th for the final meeting of the regular season. Vernon won both games over the Eagles last year. The Vipers are facing a team from either the Mainland or Island Division for a sixth straight game. After starting the season 3-0 Vernon has lost four of their last six. Vernon sits tied in points with Merritt for 2nd place in the Interior Division, are a single point up on 4th place West Kelowna and three points back of Division leading Penticton.

The 1-6-1-0 Surrey Eagles make their first and only regular season visit to Kal Tire Place. The Eagles are coming off a 5-4 double overtime loss in Chilliwack Saturday. Tonight is the second of a three game road trip where Surrey has yet to win a game away from home. Surrey will wrap up the road trip tomorrow in Salmon Arm. The Eagles last regular season win in Vernon was a 7-4 victory September 28th 2013. Surrey has just three wins in Vernon since the 2003-04 regular season. The Eagles lost their first six games of the season before picking up their first and only victory of the season September 29th over the visiting Chilliwack Chiefs. The Eagles have six players back from last years team. Surrey sits last in the Mainland Division are two points back of 5th place Langley and only four points back of Coquitlam & Prince George who are tied in points for 4th in the Division.
