Vipers Set To Hold Special Jersey Retirement Night:

The Vernon Vipers will retire their second jersey/number Friday vs the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. 107.5 Kiss FM announced through out the day on the local news/sports the Vipers will retire a former Vernon Vipers jersey/number in a special pre-game ceremony before Friday's game.

Vernon product Rob Short is the only Vernon Viper to have his jersey/number retired. Short's #20 was retired September 18th 2010 vs the visiting Penticton Vees. In 229 games with the Vipers from 2006-2010 Short collected (61-goals-76-assists-137-points).
