Brampton Beast Sign Jamie Wise, Bryan McGregor and Zach McCullough

Thursday, Sep. 24th, 2015

BRAMPTON, Ontario - The Brampton Beast announced that the team has agreed to terms with forwards Jamie Wise and Bryan McGregor along with defenseman Zach McCullough for the 2015-16 season.

Wise is entering his second season in the professional ranks, having split the 2014-15 season with the Indy Fuel and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs. Following the completion of his junior career, which he spent with the OHL's Peterborough Petes and Mississauga St. Michael's Majors, he joined the Ryerson Rams for two seasons and led the team in scoring in 2013-14 with 45 points (21g-24a) in 26 games.

McGregor returns to North America after playing abroad for the last six seasons. McGregor made stops in Finland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Kazakhstan and Denmark and helped the Piráti Chomutov to a Czech2 title in 2014-15. He's no stranger to the ECHL, having played two full seasons in the league, including a stellar 2008-09 campaign with the Idaho Steelheads, posting 82 points (38g-44a) in 66 games.

McCullough spent the last two seasons with the Elmira Jackals (2013-14) and the Kalamazoo Wings (2014-15) following a four-year CIS career with the University of Prince Edward Island. The 28-year-old scored his first professional goal last season with the Wings, an overtime winner to complete a three-goal comeback over the Allen Americans on Jan. 25.
